DISCOVERY HOME

'Discovery Home' is a television network on satellite TV and digital cable TV in the U.S. Run by Discovery Communications, which runs the Discovery Channel, it is the main competitor to HGTV. It offers programming ranging from do-it-yourself to cooking to interior design/landscaping to party planning. The channel was previously called Discovery Home and Leisure.
The 'Discovery Home Channel' is available in most areas of the United States through local Satellite and Cable providers such as, DISH Network, DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
Broadcasting and Cable reported that Discovery Home will be rebranded as an environmentally-themed channel named "Planet Green" in 2008.
