DOANE COLLEGE
'' is a private liberal arts college in Crete, Nebraska, United States, with additional campuses located in Lincoln and Grand Island. It was founded in 1872 as a Congregational institution by Thomas Doane, chief civil engineer of the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad. Doane is the oldest four-year private college in Nebraska. The enrollment is comprised of 1,000 traditional undergraduate students, 750 adult learners, and 1,200 graduate students.
Doane offers 38 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs in counseling, management, and education.
