DONINGTON ON BAIN
'Donington on Bain' is a village in the county of Lincolnshire, England within East Lindsey district. It is situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds area of the county. It lies about six miles southwest of the town of Louth and about six miles due north of the town of Horncastle.
The village sits on the east bank of the River Bain.
It is in a valley, and on either side of the valley sits a tower. One is the Belmont mast, the tallest structure in the EU. The other is a WW2 Chain Home radar tower. This is at RAF Stenigot ACE High relay station and WW2 Chain Home radar station.
Cadwell Park racetrack is roughly 5 miles away.
