DREW MORPHETT

'Drew Morphett' (born c. 1948 in Sydney) is an Australian sports broadcaster.
Morphett started his career as a sport specialist trainee in Sydney in 1966 at 18 years of age.
Over a long career he has worked with ABC Radio, commentating not only Australian rules football (the VFL and AFL), but also tennis and cricket.
He joined the Seven Network in 1988 and commentated Australian rules football matches until Seven lost the rights to broadcast AFL in 2001.
He was recently voted "World's Best Man" by the residents of 130 Barkly St.
