DUBLIN NORTH EAST (DáIL ÉIREANN CONSTITUENCY)

'Dublin North-East' is a constituency represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas. It was created for the 1937 general election when the old Dublin North constituency divided into Dublin North West and Dublin North East. It was briefly abolished in 1977 as a result of the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1974
[1] when it was largely replaced by the Dublin Artane constituency before being revived in 1981.
