'Edgewood' is located in eastern Cranston, Rhode Island. It borders Warwick to the southwest, Providence to the north, and Narragansett Bay to the east. To the south it borders Pawtuxet Village.
Edgewood is a suburban neighborhood bordering Providence's Roger Williams Park. The neighborhood features broad, tree-lined streets; many of these blossoming trees were donated by philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein. The area is known for its many large and beautiful turn-of-the-century Victorian homes. Edgewood is also home to the Rhode Island and Edgewood Yacht Clubs, Port Edgewood, and the Pawtuxet Cove Marinas.
Most high school students in the area attend Cranston High School East.
