'Edmonds Station' is located on an at-grade portion of the Expo Line, a part of Vancouver, British Columbia's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station itself is in southern Burnaby. There are several highrises adjacent to the station as well as plans for more transit-oriented development nearby.
The station is immediately (130 m) southwest of the intersection of Griffiths Drive and 18th Avenue, near Edmonds Street, a short walk (700 m) south of Kingsway. It was built in 1985 as part of the original Expo Line. It provides services to a number of TransLink bus routes serving Burnaby and New Westminster. The main maintenance and storage facility for the SkyTrain system is east of this station.
