ELIZABETH BREWSTER

'Elizabeth Winifred Brewster' (born 26 August 1922) is a Canadian poet and academic.
Born in Chipman, New Brunswick, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick, a Master of Arts degree from Radcliffe College, a Bachelor of Library Science from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. from Indiana University. She was a Professor at the University of Saskatchewan.
In 2001, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada, Canada's highest civilian honor.
