EMANUEL SCOTT


'Emanuel Scott' was a first class cricketer who played one match for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1864. Batting right handed, he scored 8 in his only innings, against Kent CCC at Swatter's Carr, Linthorpe Road East Ground, Middlesbrough, and took 2 wickets for 27 bowling right arm, round arm, medium pace. Yorkshire won the match by 4 wickets. He also played for Gentlemen of Sussex from 1860 to 1869. He was born on July 6, 1834, Birkenshaw, Yorkshire and died there on December 3, 1898.
