'Ernie Curtis' (1907 - 1992) was a Cardiff City midfielder during their famous 1927 Cup victory over Arsenal and became the youngest ever Cup winner to that date.
The Cup win was Curtis' last match for Cardiff (for whom he had scored 8 goals in his only season at Ninian Park), moving to Birmingham for the start of the following season where he scored 44 goals from midfield in a six year career.
