ERNIE KOY, JR.

'Ernie Koy' (born October 22, 1942 in Bellville, Texas) was an American football running back for the New York Giants of the NFL. He was drafted out of the University of Texas by the Giants in the 1965 NFL Draft. He was a part of the Longhorns 1963 National Championship team. His brother Ted Koy also played with the Longhorns and in the NFL. His father Ernie Koy played Major League Baseball from 1938 through 1942 for five teams, and also played football at Texas.
