ERROL BARNETT
'Errol Barnett' (b. April, 3, 1983) is a correspondent for the TV show "Dailies" on ReelzChannel in the United States. He was formally an anchor for Channel One News.

Background
Errol Barnett was born in Milton Keynes, England and lived there until his parents moved to Avondale, Arizona west of Phoenix in 1993. During his senior year at Westview High School, he was hired by the in-school program Channel One News as an anchor and reporter and was moved to Los Angeles.
Channel One
Channel One News is a nationwide news program seen by millions of American high school and middle school students. Errol was with the the news show for five years, during which time he reported from President George W. Bush's State of the Union Address and second Inauguration from Washington DC, flew through a Hurricane over the Gulf of Mexico with Hurricane Hunters and he produced a two-part feature series on heroin use in American suburbs. Errol also reported from the United Nations when former US Secretary of State Colin Powell presented flawed intelligence regarding Iraq's capability of developing Weapons of Mass Destruction or WMD's. While at Channel One, Errol received a Telly Award and was chosen as one of ''Teen People magazine's'' "20 Teens Who Will Change The World" for his work. He stopped anchoring for Channel One News in the summer of 2006 after being accepted to UCLA.
UCLA
The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), measured by number of student applicants, is the most popular University in the United States and has been designated "Most Selective" by the Princeton Review. Currently, Errol is studying political science full-time and is an active member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. The group arranges professional panels and events for UCLA students to attend as well as networking opportunities with business people in various fields. Errol was profiled in UCLA's newspaper ''The Daily Bruin'' in April, 2007 and will graduate in 2008.
ReelzChannel
The ReelzChannel is a new television network in the US dedicated to movies. Errol was hired by ReelzChannel while at UCLA as a correspondent and fill-in host for ReelzChannel's flagship show "Dailies" and "Dailies Weekend" which cover current events in the movie industry. ReelzChannel launched in September 2006 in 28 million homes and partnered with ''Variety magazine'' in exchanging content and online resources. Errol can also be seen on the network's website, which streams ReelzChannel programming like Errol's interview with Halle Berry during her promotion of the movie ''Perfect Stranger''.
BJASC
Errol Barnett is also a board member of the Black Journalist's Association of Southern California (BJASC). A volunteer organization of Los Angeles area print and broadcast journalists that operates as a chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. The group meets monthly and organizes social and professional events in the Los Angeles area. High profile newsmakers are invited as guest speakers each month to address members and discuss current events; they include LAPD Chief William J. Bratton, LAUSD Superintendent David Brewer and News Anchor Michaela Pereira. They also provide scholarships to students interested in pursuing careers in journalism [1].
