ESTONIAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION, 2003
'Estonian parliamentary election of 2003' was held on 2nd March, 2003. The threshold is 5% in national level, 6 parties passed the threshold. Those were the first parliamentary elections for the new party Res Publica.
The results were rather surprising, as the Centre Party was generally expected to win at least a couple of seats more than they did, and as even though Res Publica was generally expected to be successful the commentators didn't anticipate Res Publica to get as many seats as the Centre Party.
