ETHAN PHILLIPS


'Ethan Phillips' (born February 8, 1955 in Garden City, Long Island, New York) is an American actor, playwright and author. He is best known for television roles such as 's'' Neelix and ''Benson's'' Pete Downey.

Early

Phillips received a bachelor's degree in English literature from Boston University and an MFA from Cornell University. He authored the play ''Penguin Blues'', which has been staged around the United States and Canada. He also authored ''The Star Trek Cookbook.''
Phillips played Neelix on ''Voyager'' from 1995 to 2001.
