ETNE

'Etne' is a municipality in the county of Hordaland, Norway.
Etne was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Most of Skånevik was merged with Etne January 1, 1965.
The movie United was shot there with local people as actors.

The municipality is named after Etnefjorden (Norse ''Etnir''). The fjord is probably named after an old rivername ''
