EUGIE FOSTER
'Eugie Foster' (born 30 December, 1971 in Urbana, Illinois) is an Asian American short story writer, columnist, and editor now living in Atlanta, Georgia.
Short fiction by Eugie Foster can be found in the anthologies ''Hitting the Skids in Pixeltown'' (Phobos Books, 2003), ''Best New Fantasy'' (Wildside Press, 2006), ''Aegri Somnia'' (Bram Stoker Award for Best Anthology nominee, Apex Digest, 2006), ''Best New Romantic Fantasy 2'' (Juno Books, 2007), ''Japanese Dreams'' (Wildside Press, 2007), and ''Heroes in Training'' (DAW Books, 2007), among other speculative fiction anthologies. Foster's short fiction has also appeared in ''Realms of Fantasy,'' ''Cricket,'' ''Fantasy Magazine'', ''Cicada,'' ''Spider,'' Orson Scott Card's ''Intergalactic Medicine Show,'' and ''Apex Digest'' magazines, among others, and podcast in ''Escape Pod'' and ''Pseudopod''.
Foster writes "Writing for Young Readers," a monthly column for children's literature and young adult literature writers. She is the managing editor of ''Tangent Online,'' a science fiction, fantasy, and horror short fiction review magazine. She is also a director for Dragon Con and edits their onsite newsletter, the ''Daily Dragon.''
