EUN YANG
'Eun Yang' is a Korean American weekend news anchor and general assignment reporter during the week for NBC4/WRC-TV, the local NBC television affiliate in Washington, DC. She has worked at NBC4 News since 2002.

Eun Yang was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in the Washington, DC area. She graduated from Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Maryland in 1991. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland in 1995.
Yang met her future husband Robert Kang while doing a story on single life. She interviewed Kang, a pastor at the Church In Bethesda, about couples who meet at church. Eun Yang began her broadcast journalism career while at the University of Maryland, she worked as a reporter for Maryland Update, a program on the University's cable channel, then moved to TV-58 where she freelanced as a special projects reporter for Asian-Pacific American affairs.

In 2002, after turning down a job in New York, the nation's number-one market, she went to NBC4 as a reporter to stay in Washington, DC and started anchoring on weekends in 2004.
