EUPHORIA (BEETLE)

'''Euphoria''' is a genus of New World scarab beetles in the subfamily Cetoniinae, the flower chafers. There are 20-29 species of the genus ''Euphoria'' in North America. These beetles are diurnal, and visit flowers to obtain pollen and/or nectar. The larvae (grubs) are reported to live in decomposing matter, but some may have an association with ants (Insects of Cedar Creek).
