EUPILIO

'Eupilio' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 km north of Milan and about 14 km east of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,591 and an area of 6.5 km².^[1]
The municipality of Eupilio contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carella, Corneno, Galliano, Mariaga, and Penzano.
Eupilio borders the following municipalities: Bosisio Parini, Canzo, Cesana Brianza, Erba, Longone al Segrino, Merone, Pusiano, Rogeno.
