The club was established in 1991 as a professional part of Fredericia forenede Fodboldklubber (literally: Fredericia United) and Fredericia KFUM. In 2003, Fredericia fF decided to pull out of the project, so as of 2003 it is just a professional part of Fredericia KFUM.
In autumn 2005, they won the first edition of the Fionia Bank Cup, leading the two other Trekantsområde-clubs Kolding FC and Vejle BK on goal-difference.
