Up to the dissolution ČSFR the club played times in second, times in the third league. 1993, when with the establishment sovereigns of the Czech republic also its own Czech league was introduced, succeeded to the association the ascent into the 1. League, from which it did not descend since then. In 1990's Slovan Liberec reached mostly a place in the front centre zone of the table. 2002 Slovan Liberec became as the first not Prager crew of Czech football masters.
