FARM TO MARKET ROAD 529
(Redirected from FM 529)
'Farm to Market Road 529', or 'FM 529', is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas. FM 529 from US 290 to the future SH 99 is technically classified as 'Urban Road 529' since 1995. However it is still designated as FM 529 on the signs along this portion of the route.
The road starts at US 290 just outside the Houston city limits and travels west through rural Waller County to Bellville in Austin County.
From its creation in 1945 until 1963 it was only seven miles long extending from US 290 to an unnamed oil field. After 1964, the road was eventually extended to its present location.
