FARMACIA CENTRAL

Founded in 1942 the 'Farmacia Central' is considered one of the longest running and still operational pharmacy in the city of Humacao. The Founder Julio C Garriga first opened the doors of the pharmacy at Noya Y Hernandez # 12 East in a building that was divided into 4 stores. The pharmacy moved to a bigger location across the street when the owners son Julio E Garriga became a pharmacist and after a while became owner of the pharmacy. Now the store has moved back to its original location taking over the whole building and becoming one of Puerto Rico's most beautiful pharmacy by renovating the old building and giving it a classic colonial look.
