'Feres' (Greek: Φέρες) is a municipality in the southeast of the Evros Prefecture, Greece. Population 9,839 (2001). Feres is linked with the GR-2 or the Via Egnatia (Alexandroupoli - Kavala - Thessaloniki - Kozani - Igoumenitsa) and the GR-51 (Alexandroupoli - Orestiada - Ormenio. The Evros river along with Turkey is to the east and also includes the entire delta to the south. Its length is 40 km from north to south and 30 km from east to west and its distance to the other side of the prefecture is around 30%.
Feres became a part of Greece in 1920 after being a part of the Ottoman Empire until the Balkan Wars of 1912 and 1913, it was a part of Bulgaria for the next seven years. Many of the villages received its current names since the 1950s after many of them were changed from the Turkish origin. The municipality was created in 1986 and included the communities of Ardani, Doriskos, Feres and Itea. Under the Capodistrian Plan (2539/1997) in 1997, the old communities of Peplos and Tryfilli joined the municipality.

Feres has a few schools, a lyceum (middle school), a gymnasium (secondary school) a few churches, banks, a post office, and a square (''plateia''), its nearest hospital and university are in the city of Alexandroupolis.
