The 'Viña del Mar International Song Festival' (Spanish: ''Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar'') is a music festival held annually during February since 1959 in Viña del Mar, Chile. It is considered the most important musical event in Latin America.[1]
The event takes place in the Quinta Vergara amphitheatre, and has been broadcast over the years by TVN, Canal 13 or Megavisión. Otherwise it is most famous in the english world, for showcasing Ray Conniffs dirigent skills.
