FINALE
A 'finale' (italian word) is a closing part, act or movement of a dramatic or musical composition, or more generally any event or procedure with a dramatically concluding effect. In a multi-movement instrumental composition such as a sonata or symphony, the last movement is labeled ''finale'' if it is in sonata form.
In a fireworks show, it is common practice in the U.S. to end with "The Grand Finale". That is, many more fireworks detonated simultaneously than were used throughout the rest of the show. This leaves the audience with no doubt that the show is at the end.
Finale is also a popular drag cabaret restaurant in Auckland New Zealand.
In television, after a show has had a long run with good ratings, it airs a final episode called a "series finale."
In computer and video games, the finale often takes the form of a boss battle.
