FLASH HARRY (ST TRINIAN'S)

'Flash Harry' is the Cockney spiv in the St. Trinian's movies.
In the "St Trinian's" movies, 'Flash Harry' runs the St. Trinian's Matrimonial Agency for the Sixth Form girls, and he is the person who put bets on race horses for the "St Trinian's" pupils, and he also helps the schoolgirls bottle and sell their laboratory-created gin. His name could be based on that of Harry Flashman from Tom Brown's Schooldays, but the films predate the Flashman novels by George MacDonald Fraser by several years.
