FLAUNT (TV CHANNEL)

'Flaunt' is a British music television channel owned and operated by Chart Show Channels. Since March 2007, the channel has advertised itself as "100% dance 24/7", plays all different types of dance music such as trance funky house electronica dance lounge music .
Originally, Flaunt was a female targeted music channel, which played pop and dance music. It also had its own chart-show shown on the terrestrial broadcaster, Five between 2003 and 2006. [2]. It then relaunched as a gay-orientated music channel between 1 July 2006 and early 2007, playing many dance, trance, bubblegum and boy band music throughout that period. It rebranded as an all dance music channel on the 2nd March 2007 to compete with MTV Dance and Rapture TV. The channel dropped its NDS encryption , which it had since its launch in 2003, . This means that it is available on Sky Digital, Freesat and on any FTA satellite box on Eurobird 1. Flaunt currently airs a interactive chart show on the channel which lets viewers choose their favourite music videos via text message .
The channel was launched alongside sister channels Scuzz and The Amp, as part of a trio owned by Sky. However, they were sold to Chart Show Channels. The Amp has now been replaced by classic hits channel, Bliss.

Flaunt did play trance at night one time during its flaunt hard show through out september 2006 to april 2007 , the channel has completed wiped its trance from the channel now it now plays commercial dance music and 90's dance music .
