FLAVIA BUJOR

'Flavia Bujor' (born 8 August 1988) is a French novelist of Romanian origin. Her first book, the children's story ''The Prophecy of the Stones'' (original title: "La Prophétie des Pierres") has been published in the UK as "The Prophecy of the Gems". Written at the age of 13 in the course of 6 months, it became a success in France and was translated into 30 other languages. She is currently working on her second novel in France with her parents (her father is a sculptor, her mother is a psychoanalyst who works with young adults and teenagers) she lives in Paris. Her family moved to France when she was two years old.
The Prophecy of the Stones is the story of a hospitalized young girl who imagines another world where three heroines band together with the help of some magical stones to save their land.
