'Floral Park Police Department' is the primary law enforcement agency for the incorporated village of Floral Park in Long Island, New York. Established in 1918 it currently has approximately 36 sworn members.[1]
FPPD Headquarters is located at 1 Floral Boulevard Floral Park, N.Y.
FPPD patrols an area of approximately 1.5 square miles, with a population of over 16,000 residents. It currently comprises two lieutenants, six sergeants, two detectives and twenty-five police officers, and is commanded by police commissioner Michael Reid.
