FLORESTA, ITALY

'Floresta' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 140 km east of Palermo and about 60 km southwest of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 594 and an area of 31.1 km².^[1]
Floresta borders the following municipalities: Montalbano Elicona, Raccuja, Randazzo, Santa Domenica Vittoria, Tortorici, Ucria.
