FULTON LOVELL
'Fulton Lovell', a resident of Rabun County, Georgia was the director of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Game and Fish Division, as well as head of the Georgia State Patrol, in the late 1960s. He was the visionary behind the establishment of what is now Moccasin Creek State Park. In 1993, a pavilion at the Park was named the Fulton Lovell Assembly Shelter in honor of Lovell.
