GAALJECEL

'Gaaljecel' is a Somali clan, part of the larger Hawiye clan. The Gaaljecel live in the Hiiraan, Middle Shabelle, Lower Shabelle, Banaadir, and Lower Jubba regions of southern Somalia. Large segments of Gaaljecel subclans live in the Somali Region in Ethiopia and in Kenya,sheekh hasan barsane the somali anti-colonization leader was gaaljecel ,and they mostly supported the islamic courts especially in hiran region
