GEORGE VENABLES-VERNON, 2ND BARON VERNON
'George Venables-Vernon, 2nd Baron Vernon' (May 9, 1735 - June 18, 1813) was the Second Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton. He acceeded to the title in 1807 after the death of his father George Venables-Vernon, first Baron of Kinderton.
Vernon was educated at Westminster and at Trin Hall Cambridge (MA). He served as a Member of Parliament from 1757 to 1780. He also served as vice president of the Welch Charity. His first wife was Louisa Barbara Mansel, daughter of Bussy Mansel, last Baron Mansel of Morgan. They wed on July 16, 1757. He married again, this time to Jane Georgiana Fauquier, daughter of William Fauquier, exquire, of Hanover, on May 25, 1786.
After Vernon died in 1813, his title passed to his half-brother, the third Baron, the eldest son of the first Baron's third marriage.

Weobley (Weobly), 1757-1761; Bramber, 1762-1768; Glamorganshire, 1768-1780.
