'''Gerardia '''L. (syn. ''Stenandrium'' Nees) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Acanthaceae. It was once used as the generic name for the genus Agalinis, but based on the rules of of the ICBN (Art. 53) it is an illegitimate later homonym of Gerardia L. (1753) that is now unavailable for use in the Scrophulariaceae.
The genus is named for the English herbalist John Gerard (1545-1611/2).
