'Gulpaigan' or 'Golpāyegān' is a town in west-central Iran, 90 miles (145 km) northwest of Isfahan. According to the 2006 census, its population is more than 100'000. This town is famous for its beautiful Persian rugs and dairy as well as excellent kebabs.
