'Grand Street' is a street in the
Lower East Side of
Manhattan,
New York City. It runs east-west parallel to and south of
Delancey Street, from
Little Italy to the
East River.
The
Cooperative Village covers several blocks in the eastern end of Grand Street.
Other notable buildings include the old
Police Headquarters Building, the
Home Savings of America building and the
Bialystoker Synagogue. The street is serviced by the
Grand Street (IND Sixth Avenue Line) Subway station.
