'Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena' (formerly 'Fraser Ice Arena') is a 3,400-seat multi-purpose arena in Fraser, Michigan. It is the largest of the 5 rinks inside of the Great Lakes Sports City building. Former home of the Motor City Mechanics ice hockey team. The United Hockey League franchise is ceasing operations for 2006-2007 and looking to relocate. The complex will be the host of the 2007 USA Hockey National Championships for the Midget division.
Also home to the Belle Tire boy's and girl's ice hockey teams, the Fraser Figure Skating Club, as well as Michigan Sports Enterprises adult hockey. High School teams De La Salle, Chippewa, and Ford High II make GLSC their home rink.
