GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE
The 'Green Bay Press-Gazette' is a newspaper that covers most of northeastern Wisconsin, including Green Bay. The ''Green Bay Gazette'' was founded in 1866 and became a daily newspaper in 1871. It merged with its major competitor, the ''Green Bay Free Press'' in 1915. The newspaper was purchased by Gannett in 1980. Its circulation is 57,675 for its daily morning paper, and 83,166 for its Sunday edition.
Every fall, the Press-Gazette has pervasive coverage of the Green Bay Packers, the local NFL franchise.
