GREENWICH PUBLIC SCHOOL

'Greenwich Public School' is a local primary school in Greenwich, Australia, on the lower North Shore. There are two separate campuses located 1.5 km apart.
'Vision Statement:'
"Learning for Living" recognises that whilst children are individuals with specific needs which must be met they also exist within a complex network of family, school, community and cultural diversity. This goal is achieved by offering a broad and enriching curriculum which draws upon a range of extra curricula programs and skills which exist within the parent community.
'Motto:'
The school motto is ''Nil Sine Labore'' meaning 'nothing without work'
'Houses:'
G.P.S. has three houses named after famous Australian sportspeople. They are Bradman (Don-Cricket) which is blue, Goolagong (Evonne-Tennis) which is yellow and Fraser (Dawn-Swimming) which is red.
'Current Changes:'
The Primary Campus has just finished building a Outdoor Learning Centre over a place they call 'The Red Square'and are raising money for SmartBoards, to be installed in senior classrooms.
'Famous Alumni:'
The Prime Minister, John Howard's children attended G.P.S.
Peter Finch (Australian actor).
