GREER, ARIZONA

'Greer' is an unincorporated community in Apache County, Arizona, United States. It lies at an elevation of approximately 8,600 feet amid forests of both conifer and broadleaf trees populated by many different kind of animals. Its position in the valley of the Little Colorado River near various lakes means that temperatures are significantly milder than surrounding areas. The Sunrise Ski Park, a skiing resort, is located approximately half an hour's drive away.
While it is over a four hour drive from the Phoenix valley, it remains one of the most popular summer destinations as it is consistently 20-30 degrees colder.
