GUTHRIE CORRIDOR EXPRESSWAY

'Guthrie Corridor Expressway', 'GCE', is an expressway in Klang Valley. It connects Shah Alam to Rawang. It is owned by Guthrie Berhad with it subsidiaries GCE Sdn Bhd. The length of GCE is approximately 25 km (-- miles) (23 km (-- miles) on the GCE sections and 2 km (-- miles) on the PLUS Expressway sections).

History

The purpose of building the expressway began on 2002 while Guthrie Berhad had become a major owner of this project after plantations and property. The construction started in 2003. The expressway was built along an oil palm estate that was owned by Guthrie Berhad too. The expressway was completed in April 2005 and commenced operations in July 2005.

There are 4 toll plazas along Guthrie Corridor Expressway. Each toll plaza is located around 1 - 3 km away. All 4 toll plazas charge the same rate which can be seen below.
