'HD 73389', also known as 'e² Carinae' (e² Car), is a binary star in the constellation Carina. It is approximately 230 light years from Earth.
The primary component, 'e² Carinae A', is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +4.84. The companion star, 'e² Carinae B', is an eighth magnitude star located 0.29 arcseconds, or at least 20 AU from the primary.
