HMOS
'HMOS', ''high-performance n-channel MOS'', uses n-type metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) to implement logic gates and other digital circuits. It is based on NMOS technology, achieving higher speed at the cost of greater power consumption. HMOS was made obsolete by CMOS in the 1980s.
