HMS ANSON (1747)

'HMS ''Anson''' was a 60-gun fourth-rate launched in 1747 and sold in 1773. She was built in Bursledon[1] by Philemon Ewer and a model of the ship appears on a monument to Ewer in Bursledon parish church.1
