HALIFAX RIVER


The 'Halifax River' is a section of the Florida Intracoastal Waterway spanning the length of Volusia County, Florida, United States, connecting to the Mosquito Lagoon and Ponce de Leon Inlet at its southern end. Some cities it passes through are Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach, South Daytona and Port Orange.
There are approximately seven bridges along the river, including two bascule bridges.
