HAMPTON, ONTARIO

'Hampton' is a community of about a thousand people located in the Municipality of Clarington, Ontario, Canada. Hampton was originally called "Hog's Hollow". Hampton has two schools: Hampton Junior Public School which goes to grade JK-3, and MJ Hobbes Senior Public School which covers grades 4-8. Hampton is mostly a farmer's community with one small urban area.
It has two convenience stores, one of which has an LCBO and The Beer Store located inside.
The local post office services the village with lock boxes and 2 rural routes.
