HARRIET CASS
'Harriet Cass' is one of two BBC Radio 4 senior announcers with responsibility for newsreaders and continuity.
She joined the BBC in the 1970s as a studio manager, before working on the Radio 4 programme ''Today in Parliament'' at the Millbank Studios. In 1996, she re-joined Radio 4, after some years away from the network, and since 1998 has been working mainly as a newsreader including the News Quiz. In 2003, she, along with Chris Aldridge were promoted to the post of senior announcers, after Peter Donaldson stepped down from that post.
