'Harris Park' is a neighbourhood in the City of Parramatta local government area, in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
Harris Park is the home of several historic sites, including Experiment Farm, where James Ruse sowed the first wheat in Australia.
Currently Harris Park functions as an outlying suburb of Parramatta, though it has a small business district of its own, based around Marion Street.
In the 2001 Census there were 6,911 persons in Harris Park. 52.4% (3,618) were males and 47.6% (3,293) were females. 65.9% (4,552) were Australian citizens, but 53.3% (3,682) were born overseas. The main countries of birth for those born overseas was India (9.2%), China (6.7%), Lebanon (5.5%), Philippines (3.4%), and Afghanistan (3.0%).
