HENRY MEDLEY

'Henry Medley' (?August 5, 1747) naval officer and Commodore Governor of Newfoundland, died on board the ''Russell'' at Vado.
Medley entered the Royal Navy in 1703 and was appointed Governor of Newfoundland in 1739 and served for two seasons.
